Mike and Mike, who have been on the air for ten years and have yet to say anything interesting, had Roger Clemens on their show this morning. Clemens broke his media silence in an attempt to pre-empt allegations made in a new book "American Icon: The Fall of Roger Clemens and the Rise of Steroids in America's Pastime" that hits bookstores Tuesday.
Despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, including testimony from his former best friend Andy Pettitte, Roger thinks we are dumb enough to believe he never took PEDs. I am well aware that the majority of the population of America is pretty stupid. There is a reason the Black Eyed Peas, Kei$ha, Katy Perry, and Lady Gaga are constantly in iTunes top ten most downloaded songs and "Two and a Half Men" is the most popular show on the planet. People are dumb. But this dumb?
I guess we will find out at his trial on April 5th.
