ESPN Films documentary, "The Fab 5" aired last night. Fantastic footage, great interviews, and a refreshingly honest view of the players and teams during one of the most memorable eras in college basketball history.
The footage of these five star recruits during their high school playing days was both compelling and extremely impressive; especially a young and lanky yet powerful Chris Webber. The old school footage brought back memories of one of the best documentaries of all time, 1994's "Hoop Dreams". A teenage Jalen Rose even made an appearance in the film during a high school all-star game alongside William Gates, one of the main characters in the documentary.
