The Only Downside of March Madness...

Jim Valvano running around in euphoria, Keith Smart's baseline jumper for the Hoosiers, Mario Chalmers desperation 3 to force overtime, and Gordon Hayward's missed bank shot from half court.  Indelible images we come to cherish every March...and then there's ESPN's annual attempt to shove women's college basketball down our throats.  ESPN once again keeps up their streak of pimping only the events carried by ABC or ESPN.  Want to see 6'7" diesels slamming each other into boards at full speed?  Too bad...ESPN doesn't carry the NHL.  Want to watch over dramatized commercials promoting a bunch of bounce passes?  No problem...ESPN is going to pretend like you're interested...every single March.

"That exciting lay-up will definitely be a SportsCenter Top Play Nominee"
