The Daily Throwback 3/21/11

Clark Kellogg has been a nice change from the annoying March Madness troll, otherwise known at Billy Packer.  Always trying to make plays and game scenarios more dramatic and traumatic than they actually were, and an all time know-it-all, Packer made an ass of himself more than he supplied us with sound, logical calls.  Here he pronounces the Kansas-UNC semifinal game done with over seven minutes left...in the first half.  Kansas went on to beat UNC, but Packer did the same thing the next time when it appeared as though Memphis was going to beat Kansas for the title.  Oddly enough, Calipari forgot to teach his one-and-done street-ballers how to shoot free-throws and the Jayhawks forced overtime and won the championship.

...even Jim Nantz knew Packer just ruined the moment.
