Pulling that card...again.

Hall of Famer Warren Moon says the recent criticism towards Cam Newton is racially based.

From ESPN.com...

A draft profile in Pro Football Weekly published this week blasted Newton. Under the category of negatives, Newton was described as 'very disingenuous -- has a fake smile, comes off as very scripted and has a selfish, me-first makeup. Always knows where the cameras are and plays to them."
The profile also said that Newton "lacks accountability, focus and trustworthiness."

Real shocking stuff.  Keep in mind we're talking about a guy that spent the season dodging allegations about NCAA violations thanks to his Preacher Dad, was actually declared ineligble for basically a day by Auburn so they could pretend they were taking the high road, and let out some classy quotes such as:

"I'd like to thank my beautiful mother and my father. My parents do a lot of things behind the scenes that go unnoticed." - Upon receiving the Heisman, which he'll be giving back in about five years.

"I see myself not only as a football player, but an entertainer and icon."
