Its the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Attempting not to be bitter even though CBS' broadcast of the Masters doesn't begin until 45 minutes after the last group tees off. Your humble narrator is already on the couch, beer in hand, remaining positive despite the Red Sox impending fall to 1-7 on the year. That $179 MLB package is really working out for me so far.

Tiger has opened today as the favorite in Vegas (2/1), followed by Rory (3.5/1), and Choi/Westwood (10/1). Don't think people missed Tiger? He opened at +225 to win the Masters at 10:30 AM. Twenty minutes later, the line moved to +200. For you amateur gamblers out there, that means a disguisting amount of money was thrown on Tiger early and often. At this time yesterday, Masters tickets were going for $500. Today? Triple it: $1500.

Should be noted that all of the excitement and hype could be gone by the fourth hole, but he sure did seem locked in yesterday. Even if it doesn't last, welcome back Tiger. GM has your back.
